Cute baby!

I forgot to add these adorable pictures! One is of her crawling/scooting backwards so much she can't control where she is going- that is why she is mostly under the couch. Then she will hide toys under there and pull them out at random times. Usually she gets stuck under there and cries, but this time she was so happy in her cozy little hide away =)
The next one is of her sucking her toes instead of her thumb. She loves those feet!

teeth and crawling! watch out!

Next week she will be 8 months- but this week has been a big milestone week for her!

On Wednesday 1/27 she finally got her first tooth. That blasted thing was a hassle! (now how many more to go? sigh!) It is one on the bottom.

Then on Friday 1/29 we ordered pizza and she crawled right to it! Which is odd, since up until now she would scoot, roll, crawl backwards, and occasionally crawl 1 or 2 strides forward. Bring pizza into the mix and that girl was full on CRAWLING! She hasn't stopped since. Here we go on a new adventure!

Christmas 2009

We had so much fun visiting family...but it was sure cold! Our crazy baby liked unwrapping presents- she LOVED the wrapping paper, and every time you took it away she would cry- until you gave her more. She would pull it a little, and we would pull the present a little, but she was getting the concept of unwrapping. She was very busy moving and jumping- she loves to kick and bounce. She also started sucking in her lips around her teethless gums. It was so funny we would laugh so hard every time she did it! I didn't get great pics of it, but it was like ROTF funny. (This one does not give it justice) She is so much fun!

Our little beach bum

Doesn't she look cool with her glasses today and her floppy hat at Alice and Ken's wedding?

Her shirt says "lil tree hugger"

Gettin' some rays and shut eye...

Woke up just to eat

From the begining of time (at least her time) she has been going to the beach. Mommy and Daddy went to the beach a lot while we were pregnant. Her first trip was when she was 4 weeks old, and we have been going ever since. She usually likes it when she is awake, but that isn't very long- usually just enough time to eat. Her favorite is taking naps and just chillin'. Who can blame her?

5 month pics

It was so hard to narrow these down to 3 of each pose- but here are a few of the best. Teddi is a wonderful photographer and has so many cute props! And the crazy red head is so cute I wish I could upload them all (but this takes long enough- yes, we have a horrible connection in our house)

6 months is so much fun!

Every moment there is so much to learn and discover! She is changing and growing so fast- here is what is goin' on right now...

She did not like baby cereal, she was very upset, and she wanted to feed herself. So we gave her a spoon to play with while we fed her. She didnt want us to feed her, so I tried to put a little food on the spoon she was using. Wow, that was a mess. We then tried carrots since she didn't really take to the cereal, she would kinda take it from my finger, but still does not really care for the spoon. I think we will wait a week or so and try squash or sweet potatoes.
When she was eating carrots she was getting upset and then signed for milk- so I gave her milk and she was much happier with me! Now sometimes she will sign for milk and not really want it, I dont know how much she associates the two, but it is starting to come together- and it is a very obvious "milk" sign. Maybe she just likes the "YAY" attention when she signs it.

She started giving raspberries (zurberts, whatever you want to call them) to me on my arm. She loves it! She did it the first time while I was on the phone with someone for the apartments and it was making farting noises and I was laughing- so I had to share with them what was going on.

She started scooting backwards, and is really working on trying to roll from her tummy to her back- but that blasted arm is always in the way!

She discovered that tags are the best part of any toy!
She loves the Black Eyed Peas- especially "Boom Boom Pow" and "Tonight's Gonna Be a Good Night" and a bunch of other songs. She loves to dance- she kicks her arms and legs and gets so excited. Even at the ward Christmas party when the kids started singing she tried singing along and started "dancing" while daddy was holding her. At Alice's wedding she was going CRAZY for the top 40 type songs and the loudness and the lights- she wanted to be right in all the action and she was definitely the center of attention- and loving every minute of it!
She is SO happy and social, and LOVES attention. She will be crying and someone comes to the door and starts talking to her and she will totally love it. She loves to go on walks and be outside. As soon as we get home from a walk she gets upset.
She is such a blessing in our lives and we love having her sweet spirit in our home. She giggles and giggles at the silliest things. She is so much fun to be around. Just look at that smile- oh my goodness!!!

Wild Animal Park

We went to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego. She LOVES her friend Soren, probably more than the animals. We saw lions, tons of different birds (including flamingos-wearing her favorite color!) gorillas, and elephants (who had babies-so cute!)

She wore her little lion bib and a hat with little lion ears and a pink bow so everyone knew she was a girl. She was the cutest wild thing there!
